OpSun makes full use of the modular design and air convection design heat dissipation principle. We separate the power driver and the LED components in a separate chamber. Quickly dissipate heat to ensure maximum lamp life. OpSun is a very mature and stable outdoor lighting fixture, which is widely used in football fields, docks, steel mills, industrial plants, ships and more lighting fields.
• Weather resistance. Anodized aluminum housing and tempered glass cover emit an IP67 rating, protecting components from damage due to weather, dust, dirt or moisture. Rugged and durable for safe use in any exterior environment, even high-humidity or coastal applications. Prevents weathering, corrosion or rust and associated repair costs. Built to handle constant exposure without performance or quality impacts.
• Control options. Integrated photocell provides automated on/off control based on ambient light levels for optimized efficiency. Optional motion sensor allows additional savings through automatic dimming or shutoff when areas are unoccupied. Programmable timer controls also possible for some models, enabling scheduling by zone for control and cost management. Prevents wasting energy through unnecessary runtimes.
• Considerations: Choose the optimal combination of brightness, efficiency and cost for your needs. Higher Lumens/watt ratios and lighter color temperatures improve efficiency while reducing spacing requirements and costs. Evaluate total cost of ownership versus upfront expenses alone. Weather resistance, lifespan, warranty and available controls/features also impact value and should factor into selection.

OEM/ODM
Original Design Manufacturing
ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) is also referred to as private labeling or white label products. In this case, the manufacturer has an existing product design and the customer may make slight changes to sell it under their own brand name. Some examples of changes include branding, colors, or packaging.
Original Equipment Manufacturer
An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) builds a customer’s product that is fully designed by that customer and then contracted out to produce. The Apple iPhone, for example, was invented and designed by Apple, and then contracted to Foxconn to build. With this, the iPhone has a much higher level of product differentiation because the design is only available to Apple and its contracted manufacturer.
The main advantage of an OEM is that the customer retains total creative control over the design. When using an OEM, there will also be little to no intellectual property restrictions that may prevent switching to a different manufacturer in the future, if needed.
Another benefit of using an OEM vs ODM is the flexibility in the product design. OEMs can build products to any specification while ODM products are restricted to a predetermined design.
